Job summary

Hensel Phelps seeks a Lead Quality Control Engineer to manage QC processes on projects, applying judgment on quality-related recommendations and policies. Will mentor junior engineers on large projects and handle field and office QC activities in a safety-sensitive role.

The role requires a 4-year civil/structural engineering or construction management degree and 3–5 years on large commercial builds, with proficiency in Excel, Prolog, Primavera, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture or construction management.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience on large commercial construction projects.
• Technically experienced and capable of comprehending specifications, standards, and code requirements for all disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Review and update the project quality process log (QPL).
• Direct the removal and replacement of non-conforming work.
• Submit and review RFIs to ensure field changes are implemented.
