Job summary

The Quality Control Manager (QCM) at Hensel Phelps will implement and manage the QC program across projects, coordinating multiple QC engineers in collaboration with the project superintendent. You will resolve QC issues with the PM and PS and promote quality control regionally.

This is a safety sensitive position. You will lead the six‑step QC/safety process, establish site quality programs, run weekly QC meetings, review inspection reports, and ensure contract compliance with plans, specs, and

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in civil/structural engineering, architecture or construction management.
• 5–7 years’ experience on large commercial construction projects.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel templates, Prolog, Primavera and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the start-up and implementation of the six-step quality control/safety process.
• Lead the weekly QC meetings and coordinate site quality programs.
• Review inspection reports, punch lists, and close-in inspection results.
• Ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Submit RFIs, coordinate third-party testing, and document daily QC activity.
