Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks a Quality Control Analyst for the Knoxville, TN plant. You will perform qualification testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods using advanced lab instrumentation.

You will record data into SAP and quality databases, and issue certificates of analysis. The role requires collaboration, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to train teammates. The position involves 12-hour rotating shifts and no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with one of the specified science/engineering qualifications.
• Candidates may also show military experience or relevant lab/manufacturing experience.
• Experience with laboratory testing and data handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualification testing of raw materials, in-process, batch final, shipment final and special samples.
• Conduct tests according to written test methods and record results.
• Enter QC data into SAP worksheets and quality databases.
• Prepare and issue certificates/letters of analysis.
• Ensure test equipment is in control and take corrective actions as needed.
• Provide quality training and back-up support to other analysts.
