Job summary

Alpha Supported Living Services in Washington state is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to develop, implement, and maintain quality enhancement systems across programs. You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain client and agency records, and align with the Guiding Values of the DDA.

You will work with multiple departments, prepare for certifications, review plans of correction, and support staff training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of regulatory codes, governing policies, agency rules, and contract provider regulations.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, process modeling, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources.
• Intermediate ability to monitor/assess performance and to take corrective action.
• Ability to recognize when something is wrong or likely to go wrong, and to determine compliance with laws and standards.
• Experience in gathering, transcribing, recording, storing, and maintaining information.

Responsibilities

• Review agency records, personnel files and policies for contract and regulatory compliance; approve plans of correction and related documentation.
• Review client records every six months and agency policies at least annually.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address concerns or patterns and develop training as needed.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and best practice trends; provide recommendations for updates.
• Prepare data and reports for the annual meeting and semi-annual QA evaluations to the CEO.
