Job summary

PossAbility LLC is seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) responsible for overseeing and managing ISPs for individuals with diverse disabilities, ensuring appropriate support and services. Role includes developing behavior support plans, monthly reviews, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

The QIDP will ensure regulatory compliance, serve as primary case manager, and may train staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in healthcare, human services, public health, or related field.
QIDP certified and on the Department’s QIDP database.
Five+ years of experience as a direct care worker for individuals with IDD.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Current First Aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

ISP Development and Implementation: develop, implement, and monitor ISPs to meet needs and protect rights.
Individual BSPs: assist in developing and overseeing BSPs for challenging behaviors.
Monthly Program Reviews: prepare written monthly reviews with data collection and updates.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: work with therapists, nurses, and social workers for comprehensive support.
Regulatory Compliance: ensure programs comply with IDHS and other regulations.
Case Management: act as primary case manager ensuring consistency across programs.
Training and Supervision: train staff and supervise others as needed.
