Job summary

Zippy is seeking a Manager, Quality Assurance to lead pre‑close and post‑close QA across the loan origination lifecycle. The role supervises people, workflows, and controls to deliver timely, accurate file reviews while identifying risks before they impact borrowers, regulators, or investors.

You will coach and develop QA analysts, manage performance, calibration, and escalation, and serve as the primary point of contact for disputes and cross‑functional QA discussions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in mortgage or related financial services.
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience.
• Experience overseeing pre-close and post-close quality reviews preferred.
• Strong analytical skills using findings and metrics.
• Manufactured housing or specialty finance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA team for pre-close and post-close loan reviews.
• Maintain quality controls and monitor findings and investor findings.
• Manage daily queues and throughput across reviews.
• Translate QA data into actionable insights for leadership.
• Collaborate with Origination, Underwriting, Compliance, and Risk teams.
