Job summary

Zippy is seeking a Manager, Quality Assurance to lead pre- and post-close loan reviews for manufactured housing loans in a remote-first environment. You will manage QA analysts, drive calibration, ensure policy compliance, and partner with Origination, Underwriting, and Compliance to reduce risk and improve throughput.

We value hands-on QA leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate data into practical improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in mortgage, consumer lending, manufactured housing lending, loan operations, underwriting, quality assurance, or a comparable financial services function.
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience.
• Experience overseeing both pre‑close and post‑close quality reviews strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using findings, operational metrics, and trend data to identify root causes and drive measurable improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to translate QA data into practical recommendations that reduce repeat issues and improve throughput.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team for pre‑close and post‑close loan reviews and ensure timely, accurate file reviews.
• Maintain strong quality controls by monitoring findings, removal rates, and investor feedback.
• Escalate material risks and drive corrective actions with cross‑functional partners.
• Translate QA data into concise insights for managers and senior leadership.
• Build productive relationships with Origination, Underwriting, Operations, Compliance, and Credit Risk.
