Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions seeks a Supervisor, Quality Assurance Automation to lead a team within the Strategic Technology Systems Development group. You will drive design and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing, and ensure robust automated testing aligned with CI/CD.

The role is hands-on (70%) with about 30% people leadership, collaborating with engineering, product, and DevOps to improve automation strategy and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• ISTQB: Agile Testing or Foundation Level preferred.
• 6+ years of QA/Automation experience required.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project tools like Jira/Azure DevOps.
• Experience testing cloud-native apps on AWS/Azure/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of QA testers with clear direction and performance expectations.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Ensure high-quality software through test planning, functionality testing, and automated testing.
• Supports multiple Scrum teams/PODs and balances hands-on work with leadership.
• Evaluate QA tools and processes; drive continuous improvements to automation strategy.
• Establish team standards and guidelines for scalable automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps to integrate testing into CI/CD.
• Supervise staff per company policies; plan staffing and capacity expansion.
• Hire, interview, and orient new staff; represent QA in leadership meetings.
