Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Supervisor, Quality Assurance Automation to lead a team of QA testers and develop scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing. You will work with engineering, product, and DevOps to integrate automated testing into our CI/CD pipelines and ensure high-quality software releases.

The role combines hands-on development (about 70%) with leadership responsibilities (about 30%), with opportunities to mentor staff and influence automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• ISTQB: Agile Testing or Foundation Level Testing preferred.
• 6+ years of experience.
• Experience with agile methodologies and Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, etc., required.
• Experience testing cloud-native applications in AWS or Azure (GCP experience preferred).
• Demonstrated data privacy practices and HIPAA knowledge.
• Experience managing projects and resources.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of QA testers with clear direction and performance expectations.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Ensure software quality through test planning, testing of new functionality, and robust automated testing frameworks.
• Supports multiple Scrum teams/PODs.
• Primarily hands‑on role (≈70%) with light people leadership (≈30%).
• Evaluate QA tools and drive continuous improvements to automation strategy and execution.
• Establish team standards and guidelines for scalable automation frameworks.
• Partner with engineering, product, and DevOps to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Supervise staff per company policies; plan staffing and capacity expansion.
• Conduct interviews and onboard new staff.
