Job summary

Responsibilities include data-driven analysis, reporting, onboarding new projects, and collaborating with teams to optimize solar and storage fleets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, science, or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years PV Performance Engineering, Capacity Testing (ASTM E2848 & IEC standards) and PV data analytics.
• Experience with modeling using software like PVSyst, PlantPredict, SAM, and similar tools.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience with programming languages like Python, VBA, MATLAB, Java.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of time.
• Broad understanding of Renewable Energy with emphasis on Service and Construction.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Safety is the top priority and all personnel follow safe practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to collect data for reports, tests, analyses and deliverables.
• On-board active projects into SOLV Energy's Performance Team platforms.
• Track issues with engineering teams to optimize fleet performance.
• Analyze energy losses and performance impacts from outages.
• Lead and mentor Performance Engineers and Analysts in daily activities.
• Review drawings, site plans and system layouts for accuracy.
• Run PV power-plant energy models using PVsyst and other tools as needed.
• Develop and update client reports including commissioning plans and forecasts.
• Support prioritization of field work based on critical issues.
