SOLV Energy, a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, seeks a Performance Engineer II to oversee day-to-day operations on active projects. This role can be fully remote or hybrid with in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR, with location details discussed in interviews.

Responsibilities include data-driven analysis, reporting, onboarding new projects, and collaborating with teams to optimize solar and storage fleets.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, science, or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years PV Performance Engineering, Capacity Testing (ASTM E2848 & IEC standards) and PV data analytics.
• Experience with modeling using software like PVSyst, PlantPredict, SAM, and similar tools.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Experience with programming languages like Python, VBA, MATLAB, Java.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of time.
• Broad understanding of Renewable Energy with emphasis on Service and Construction.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

• Lead and mentor Performance Engineers and Analysts in daily activities.
• Review drawings, site plans and system layouts for accuracy.
• Run PV power-plant energy models using PVsyst and other tools as needed.
• Develop and update client reports including commissioning plans and forecasts.
• Support prioritization of field work based on critical issues.
