Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Pubs Ops Associate to provide operational support to the Global Scientific Publications (GSP) Team. The role focuses on routing IIS, LP, and PAA publications, and managing Author Master Agreements and contract documents.

You will collaborate with medical writers and agency partners to ensure timely submissions and accurate records in Datavision, while maintaining strong attention to detail and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Preferred Associate or bachelor’s degree in health-related, business and/or finance.
• At least 2 years of experience in data entry, clerical, document specialist, or reconciliation.
• Strong project management, communication, and relationship-management skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality/compliance.
• Customer support experience is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Intakes IIS and PAA publications and routes submissions for approval in Datavision.
• Intakes publications from licensing partners and routes submissions for approval in Datavision.
• Coordinates Author Master Agreements with external authors and tracks expirations.
• Creates Datavision records for agency partners to support workflow tracking.
• Monitors inbox; triages issues and escalates to software support as needed.
• Intakes requests to create QR codes for congress poster presentations and shares with writers.
• Accesses and distributes contracts and study documents upon request.
