Job summary

The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) seeks a part-time Customer Service Technician at the Gloucester Customer Service Center. You will handle transactions, issue IDs, process applications, and support DMV services with accuracy and courtesy.

Training is provided, and bilingual abilities are encouraged. Roles involve varied hours Monday–Saturday to meet customer needs and ensure smooth CSC operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and ability to communicate clearly with a diverse public.
• Proficiency with personal computers, databases, and information systems to support service operations.
• Mathematics and basic accounting principles (e.g., reconciliations) and the ability to interpret complex regulations.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer transactions, explain policies and procedures, and issue IDs at Gloucester CSC.
• Process applications, administer vision, driver, and in-car road tests; process registrations and titling.
• Collect taxes and perform other DMV services as assigned; learn and follow routine workflows.
• Complete required trainings and work with a team across multiple stations within the CSC.
