Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of clerical experience.
• One year of clerical experience with public contact, including explaining programs/services or resolving issues.
• College training may substitute for General Experience (15 semester hours = 1/2 year, up to 2 years).
• Preferred: call center experience, ability to prioritize, coordinate with team, meet deadlines, resolve customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Review applications for operator licenses, vehicle registrations and titles for completeness and accuracy.
• Handle inquiries via calls, emails, and letters; explain statutes, regulations, and procedures.
• Process registration renewals and issue licenses with related documentation.
• Schedule appointments and maintain records; balance cash and documents.
