Travelers is seeking an Account Executive for Public Sector Services to partner with agents and brokers. You will provide coverage for new and renewal business, assess risk, and sell Travelers products to drive profitability.

As an AE, you will be decisive, detail-oriented, and skilled at building internal and external relationships to deliver results. You will manage profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book, underwrite and negotiate accounts, and cultivate relationships across

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three to five years of relevant underwriting experience in commercial lines.
• Knowledge of commercial lines products, regulatory environment, and local market.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making aligned with risk appetite.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with agents and brokers.

Aufgaben

• Manage profitability, growth and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners to create sales plans and cross-selling opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners by meeting agents and brokers to market Travelers products.
• Must be able to travel to meetings.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities using consultative skills.
• Develop and execute agency sales plans and regional sales plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
