Job summary

The Auditor of State’s Office is seeking a Human Capital Management Analyst to lead full-cycle recruitment for both internships and full-time roles across Ohio. You will manage postings, screen applicants, and conduct interviews, while promoting opportunities at colleges and universities statewide.

The role requires collaboration with HR leadership to advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and includes outreach at career fairs and campus events, ensuring compliance with policies

Qualifications

• Completion of undergraduate core program in Human Resources, Business, or Public Administration.
• 2 years of experience in human resources (alternative).
• 1 year of experience as a Human Capital Management Analyst (64612) (alternative).
• Equivalent combination of education and experience per state standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage job postings and candidate pipelines on OHMS, Handshake, and other platforms.
• Review applications, screen candidates, and conduct preliminary interviews.
• Attend career fairs, campus events, and classroom presentations across Ohio to promote intern and full-time opportunities.
• Process pre-hire documentation and background checks in accordance with policies and laws.
• Partner with HR leadership to develop outreach strategies that advance DEIB.
