Auditor Of State in Ohio is seeking a Human Capital Management Analyst to lead full-cycle recruitment for interns and full-time staff across the state. You will manage postings, screen applicants, and represent public service values at career events.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: Completion of undergraduate core program in Human Resources, Business, or Public Administration
• OR 2 years of experience in human resources
• OR 1 year of experience as a Human Capital Management Analyst (64612)
• OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the State of Ohio job classification standards
• Preferred: Experience with the Ohio Hiring Management System (OHMS)
• Additional Requirements: Ability to travel frequently to colleges and universities throughout Ohio
• Must hold a valid Ohio driver's license and maintain a good driving record

Responsibilities

• Manage job postings and candidate pipelines on the Ohio Hiring Management System (OHMS), Handshake, and other approved recruitment platforms.
• Review applications, screen candidates, and conduct preliminary interviews.
• Attend career fairs, campus events, and classroom presentations across Ohio to promote the AOS internship and full-time employment opportunities.
• Process pre-hire documentation and background checks in accordance with office policies and applicable laws.
• Partner with HR leadership to develop outreach strategies that advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
