With a statewide staff of more than 800 auditors and other professionals, the Auditor of State's office is responsible for auditing all public offices in Ohio, (nearly 6,000 entities). This includes cities, counties, villages, townships and schools.

The Recruiter serves under the supervision of the Recruitment Manager within the Human Resources Department and plays a key role in connecting talented professionals and students with meaningful careers in public service. This position independently performs the full cycle of recruitment and outreach for both full-time and internship positions across the State of Ohio. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in representing the mission of the Auditor of State's Office (AOS). ++Minimum Qualifications:++
Education and Experience:
Completion of undergraduate core program in Human Resources, Business, or Public Administration
OR 2 years of experience in human resources;
OR 1 year of experience as a Human Capital Management Analyst (64612);
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the State of Ohio job classification standards.
Preferred: Experience with the Ohio Hiring Management System (OHMS).
Additional Requirements:
Ability to travel frequently to colleges and universities throughout Ohio.
Must hold a valid Ohio driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
