Job summary

OpenGov in Chicago, IL seeks a Manager I to lead and mentor a team of Implementation Analysts/Consultants delivering successful OpenGov solutions for public sector customers.

You will oversee data requirements, platform configuration, and administrator training while ensuring on-time, on-budget deployments and high customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in SaaS delivery, GIS experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication; travel ~25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
• 3 years of SaaS project delivery experience.
• GIS software experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working with customers at all organizational levels with professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills and business acumen.
• Strong leadership skills and team development focus.
• Strategic thinker with problem-solving ability.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Implementation Analysts/Consultants.
• Oversee data requirements gathering, platform configuration, and admin training.
• Troubleshoot data formatting, system logic, and configuration workflows.
• Reinforce implementation methodology, documentation, and standards.
• Provide hands-on support for complex projects and data transformation strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
• Track team utilization and project portfolio health.
• Balance priorities and resources to deliver successful implementations.
