Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Account Executive for the Federal Civilian sector to drive MuleSoft sales across public sector accounts, including federal agencies. This role emphasizes hunting new business, strategic account planning, and partnering with internal Salesforce teams to deliver customer value.

You will engage with C-suite and stakeholders, manage a remote or hybrid territory, and lead efforts to expand revenue within existing accounts while aligning to customer objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software full cycle sales experience including 5+ years of Enterprise sale experience.
• Must be skilled in hunting/development of new opportunities.
• Experience working with/understanding Federal Civilian Agencies.
• Demonstrates success and enthusiasm in hunting for new business.
• Experience working with a large extended team.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business and engage with existing customers to sell MuleSoft.
• Build positive, trusted relationships with key team members and c-suite decision makers in your patch.
• Develop and drive long-term strategy for the account aligned to customer objectives.
• Coordinate internal Salesforce resources to meet customer business needs.
• Share Salesforce value proposition for existing and/or new customers.
• Drive growth within an existing assigned account.
