Job summary

CDW is hiring a Consulting Solutions Executive to drive revenue growth in Hybrid Infrastructure for public sector customers across federal, state/local government, and aerospace/defense sectors. You will lead full lifecycle sales—from strategic account planning and client engagement to solution design and opportunity management—balancing business development with hands-on technical development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related technical field and 8+ years of full lifecycle sales experience for Hybrid Infrastructure services and products, or 12+ years in the same area.
• Mastery of at least five Hybrid Infrastructure focus areas: IBM Power, Mainframe, Storage, HCI, Data Center Networking, Data Protection, Wireless, etc.
• Data center expertise with VMware, HPE, Dell, and Cisco technologies.
• Experience creating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Proven enterprise sales experience with strategic planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to expand CDW Hybrid Infrastructure's customer base and bookings.
• Build and maintain deep knowledge of offerings and market position.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations.
• Identify, engage, qualify, and develop new business opportunities.
• Support full sales lifecycle: account planning, research, pursuit, and closure.
• Create BOMs and SOWs to support customer solutions.
• Engage with VMware, HPE, Dell, and Cisco technologies in solutions.
• Support public sector customers including federal, state/local, aerospace, and defense.
• Collaborate with internal teams and partners to drive successful sales cycles.
• Represent CDW at industry events and in public communications.
• Maintain Salesforce pipeline reporting and forecasting.
