Job summary

CDW is seeking a Consulting Solution Architect to drive Hybrid Infrastructure solutions for Federal or State and Local customers. This field-based role focuses on consultative guidance, scoping services, and strategic relationships to grow our Hybrid Infrastructure services business.

You will collaborate with customers, delivery teams, and internal sales to plan strategy, author SOWs, and build configurations across servers, storage, virtualization, cloud, and AI technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, and 7 years in technical, pre-sales, or post-sale delivery role OR 11 years in technical, pre-sales, or post-sale delivery role.
• Motivated, self-starting, and able to independently perform high quality work with minimal guidance.
• Industry knowledge and domain expertise: An SA should possess domain expertise and understand industry-specific challenges.
• Team collaboration and leadership: work with cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members.
• Customer-focused: strong communication and presentation skills to engage with customers.
• Solution design and problem-solving: translate requirements into comprehensive solutions.
• Significant Federal or State and Local background in support of those customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and compensation details included.

Responsibilities

• Develop assessment and service solutions for CDW customers, including architecture, health checks, deployment services, and advisory services.
• Collaborate with customers, delivery, and internal sales to offer guidance, plan sales strategy, and author SOWs.
• Build Configurations/BOMs to meet customer requirements for servers, storage, virtualization, cloud, AI, and related technologies.
• Analyze technical and competitive considerations, define actions to meet customer expectations in the sales cycle.
• Maintain strategic relationships with customers and partners, acting as a trusted advisor to drive growth.
• Grow influence in the territory through engagement with vendors/partners/customers and act as a field expert.
• Contribute to CDW marketing activities and provide regular technical enablement to peers.
• Lead outreach initiatives, coaching, and mentoring of other SAs and field sellers.
