Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to own presales engagements and lead multi-disciplinary teams. You will translate customer requirements into robust end-to-end architectures, coordinating across engineering, sales, and service to drive complex RFPs and sole-source projects.

The role emphasizes strategic business insights and technical depth. Travel is substantial (over 50%), with base salary ranges and OT earnings outlined.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or 5+ years in related roles.
• Experience analyzing voice and data networks for public safety and enterprise.
• Strong written and verbal communication across internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Formulate presale strategies and implementation plans to meet customer requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, sales, service and proposals.
• Coordinate across business units to align win strategies with customer proposals.
• Conduct detailed customer requirements discovery to translate needs into system architectures.
• Demonstrate product features and value propositions to customers.
• Develop technology strategies across critical communications and command center software.
