Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer in the West region who will manage presale opportunities and oversee complex projects from scope through final close. The role focuses on critical communications technologies including public safety mobile voice/data networks, devices, LTE networks, and integrated CAD/dispatch solutions.

The candidate will partner with the Sales Team to deliver customer-driven, end-to-end solutions across government, utilities, transportation, and enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience
• OR 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience
• Land Mobile Radio (LMR) experience highly preferred
• Strong communications skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
• Knowledge of wireless/fiber networks and related architectures

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales Team to deliver end-to-end solutions for customers nationwide
• Define directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation
• Provide engineering services including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment
• Prepare system bids considering customer needs and product availability
• Coordinate with internal/external developers to meet delivery requirements
