Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and implement complex projects across the nation. You will work with the Sales Team to deliver end-to-end solutions for first responder, government, utility, transportation, and enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• OR 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• Land Mobile Radio (LMR) experience highly preferred.
• Strong written and oral communications skills with the ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Sales Team to deliver customer-driven, world-class, end-to-end solutions across the country.
• Defines directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of the technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services for Customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment in accordance with requirements and contract obligations.
• Preparation of system bids, taking into account the customer's needs and equipment available, and modifications required with product group.
• Work with operations and other internal and external developers to meet delivery requirements and deadlines.
