Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to drive complex opportunities in public safety and enterprise markets. The role partners with the Sales Team to define scope, design end-to-end solutions, and support projects from definition through close across mobile voice/data, LTE, and CAD/analytics.

Applicants should have 4+ years in sales/sales engineering or 8+ years in related fields, LMR experience preferred, and strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• OR 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• Land Mobile Radio (LMR) experience highly preferred.
• Strong written and oral communications; able to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to deliver customer-driven, end-to-end solutions for first responders and enterprise customers.
• Define directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services including commissioning, testing, and system presentations.
• Prepare system bids considering customer needs and product availability.
• Collaborate with operations and other developers to meet delivery timelines.
