Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and implement complex projects across the country. You will work with the Sales Team to deliver end-to-end communications solutions for first responders, government, and enterprise customers, from scope definition to project close.

The role requires a strong background in public safety, LMR, and wireless networks, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences and build lasting stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience or 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• LMR experience highly preferred.
• Strong written and oral communications skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to think out of the box and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Sales Team to deliver customer-driven, end-to-end solutions across the country.
• Defines directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of the technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services for Customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment.
• Preparation of system bids and modifications in conjunction with product group.
• Coordinate with operations and other developers to meet delivery requirements and deadlines.
