Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage pre-sale opportunities and implement complex projects across public safety and enterprise sectors. The role focuses on mission-critical communications technologies, including mobile voice/data networks, LTE, and CAD/911 systems.

You will work with the Sales Team to deliver end-to-end solutions nationwide and ensure quality implementations. Preferred candidates live in the Northeast and are willing to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience or 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• Knowledge of public safety communications technologies and IP networking is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales Team to deliver end-to-end, customer-driven solutions for first responders, government, utilities, and enterprises nationwide.
• Define directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services including commissioning, testing Motorola equipment, and presenting systems to customers.
• Prepare system bids considering customer needs, equipment, and product group adjustments.
• Coordinate with operations and internal/external developers to meet delivery requirements and deadlines.
