Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Software Application Specialist Manager to lead a team deploying public safety and command center software within complex ecosystems. You will coordinate upgrade migrations, ensure timely delivery, and align with contractual responsibilities while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

The role emphasizes leadership, resource planning, technical know-how, and project management to deliver high-impact software solutions for public safety agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Engineering or related field.
• Self-motivated team player able to work with general guidance toward objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Software Application Specialists for deployment of public safety software within complex ecosystems.
• Collaborate with ESI Lab leadership to test upgrade migration paths and deployment procedures.
• Coordinate with CCSW Contracts to understand contractual responsibilities and ensure on-time delivery.
• Conduct operational assessments, process reviews, and document findings from customer processes.
• Evaluate existing processes and provide tailored recommendations to optimize operational efficiency.
• Facilitate business process reengineering and lead workshops to design new processes.
• Design, develop, and deliver training curriculum and materials for end-users.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing and document results against the Functional Requirements Matrix.
• Act as liaison between technical resources, engineers, and project managers to meet customer needs.
• Ensure delivery of CCSW HW/SW Platform migration tasks per contract and maintain customer satisfaction.
