Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to deploy complex public safety solutions (CAD/Mobile/Records/Jail) for state, regional, county, and city clients. You will lead a team across disciplines, manage budgets, and coordinate with customers through all project phases.

Remote role with 25-50% travel in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Strong preference for candidates in VA, MD, or DC; background clearance is required for government customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of project management experience
• OR 5+ years of project management experience managing complex deployments and/or software deployments
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; employer sponsorship not available
• Experience with CAD/Mobile/Records/Jail deployments and 3rd party integrations

Responsibilities

• Lead complex public safety applications (CAD/Mobile/Records/Jail) projects
• Direct the work activities of the project team across organizational boundaries
• Drive strategic relationships between internal and external teams
• Resolve issues between internal and external groups
• Responsible for project budgets and schedules
• Prepare and present project status reports and results
• Collaborate with PMO to implement process improvements and best practices
