Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to lead deployment of complex public safety solutions (CAD, mobile, records, jail). You will manage cross-functional teams, budgets, and schedules, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery for state, regional, county, and city customers.

This remote role requires 25–50% travel within the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. The ideal candidate will have a PMP or equivalent experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and the ability to obtain government background

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of project management experience OR 5+ years of project management experience in complex deployments
• Ability to obtain background clearance as required by government customer
• Willingness to travel 25–50% across the Northeast US and surrounding region

Responsibilities

• Lead complex public safety applications (CAD/Mobile/Records/Jail) projects
• Direct the work activities of project teams across organizational boundaries
• Manage budgets, schedules, risk assessments, and quality plans
• Prepare and present project status reports and quotes/SOWs
• Collaborate with PMO to implement process improvements and best practices
• Support pre-contract evaluations and customer negotiations
