Job summary
Motorola Solutions in the Mid-Atlantic region seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead deployment of CAD/Mobile/Records/Jail systems for public safety agencies. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure on-time delivery across statewide, regional, county, and city clients.
The role involves significant travel (25–50%), remote work flexibility, and a focus on risk, quality, and stakeholder communication.
Qualifications
- PMP Certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3 years PM experience.
- Experience managing projects for State and Local government in public safety.
- Experience with project risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Leads complex, large public safety applications (CAD/Mobile/Records/Jail) projects.
- Directs work activities of the project team across organizational boundaries.
- Drives strategic relationships between internal and external teams.
- Resolves issues between internal and external groups.
- Owns project budgets and schedules, and manages invoicing.
- Provides status reports and participates in PMO improvements.
- Participates in pre-contract evaluations and customer negotiations.
