Knowledge Services is seeking an Eligibility Specialist to support the DFR in South Bend, Indiana. This role processes applications for public assistance (TANF, SNAP, Medicaid), verifies information, and coordinates with clients by phone or in person.

Responsibilities include data gathering, document collection, data entry, and answering inquiries, with a focus on accuracy and policy compliance. A background in social services is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organization and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience in social services or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Gather data for all relevant assistance programs with clients.
• Verify information meets state policies and gather needed documents.
• Obtain release forms and medical records as needed.
• Verify income, assets, and financial documents.
• Explain regulations and program requirements to clients.
• Enter data into state database and respond to inquiries.
