Knowledge Services, serving DFR, is seeking an Eligibility Specialist in Scottsburg, IN to assist Indiana residents applying for TANF, SNAP, and Medicaid. You will gather data, verify documents, and support clients through the eligibility process in a social services setting.

You will need strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in data entry and MS Office. The role offers a 37.5-hour week and benefits.

Formación

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Counseling or Social Services preferred, HS/GED accepted.
• 2 years of experience in a social services environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and data-entry skills.

Responsabilidades

• Gather data for all relevant assistance programs via face-to-face or phone with clients.
• Verify information meets state policies and required documents.
• Obtain release forms and medical records as needed.
• Verify income, assets, and other financial/legal documents.
• Review regulations and program requirements with clients.
• Utilize automated program to determine eligibility of state assistance programs.
• Data entry into state database.
• Respond to inquiries via phone or email in a timely manner.
