Job summary

The State of Missouri's Family Support Division seeks a Benefit Program Technician for the Jefferson County Customer Service Center in Hillsboro. You will help Missourians obtain food, medical, financial and nutritional assistance and determine eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Four years of customer service experience OR a Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Determine initial and continuing eligibility for benefits.
• Interview clients in person and by telephone.
• Explain program rules, rights, and responsibilities.
• Prepare summaries and other related documentation.
