Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners in Quincy, Florida is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for PRN daytime coverage. You will work with a supervising physical therapist to support patient care, execute treatment plans, and help patients progress between visits.

The role requires an associate degree, an active PTA license in Florida, and at least some experience; the schedule is flexible within daytime hours at Riverchase Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Program
• Current, unencumbered state PTA license
• 1 year of PTA experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Documents patient progress and reports changes to the supervising PT
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices

Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Program required
• Current, unencumbered state Physical Therapist Assistant License
• 1 year of previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising PT
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices
