Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners, LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our PRN team in Lake City, FL. You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress.

The role offers flexible daytime PRN scheduling, opportunities to educate patients on home exercise programs, and collaboration with therapists who understand the realities of clinical work. A PTA license is required in Florida.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.
• Current, unencumbered Florida PTA license.
• One year of PTA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under supervising PT.
• Documents patient progress and status changes to supervising PT.
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices.

Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Program required
• Current, unencumbered state Physical Therapist Assistant License
• 1 year of previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising PT
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices
