Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our PRN team. You’ll work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, selecting hours that fit your life while helping patients progress with individualized treatment plans.

This role requires an associate degree, an active PTA license, and a preference for 1 year of experience. We support your professional voice in a collaborative setting and value quality care delivered by

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Program is required.
• Current, unencumbered PTA license in the relevant state.
• 1 year of PTA experience preferred.
• Implements individualized treatment plans under supervision of a PT.
• Documents patient progress and reports changes to supervising PT.
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and use of assistive devices.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: PRN - Daytime.
• Locations: Beach Street Health & Rehab Center, Daytona Beach, FL.
• Provide therapy under PT supervision and adjust plans as needed.

Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Program required
• Current, unencumbered state Physical Therapist Assistant License
• 1 year of previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising PT
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices
