Job summary

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative in Baltimore, MD. Starting pay at $15 per hour with hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months thereafter.

You will greet members, sign up new members, answer phones with a friendly script, process purchases at the POS, and help maintain a clean, safe club environment. A high school diploma or GED and 18+ are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Schedule

• Saturday: 6:30 AM – 12:00 PM
• Sunday: 6:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift

• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
