Job summary

Planet Fitness in Noblesville, IN is hiring a Customer Service Representative for the second shift. Starting pay is $12 per hour with two schedule options: 30 hours Mon-Thu 5:00 PM–11:15 PM and Fri 3:00 PM–9:15 PM; or 40 hours Mon-Thu 3:15 PM–11:15 PM and Fri 1:00 PM–9:15 PM.

Hourly increases occur at 180 days, 12 months, and every six months thereafter. The role focuses on delivering a high-quality, Judgement Free member experience and supporting club operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.
• Greet members, sign up new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the POS system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to members and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
