Job summary

Planet Fitness in Glen Burnie, MD is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative. Duties include greeting members, signing up new members, answering inquiries, and processing purchases with the POS system.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to active and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Job Details: Job Location: L106 Glen Burnie - Glen Burnie, MD 21060, Job Shift: Second Shift, Schedule- Thursday 5-10pm, Friday- 4pm- 9pm, Saturday/Sunday- 3pm- 7pm

Part- Time: Starting at $15 per hour.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Qualifications: Job Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
