Job summary

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, seeks a friendly Customer Service Representative to support members and guests at our Lenoir club. You will help sign up new members, log amenities, answer questions, and maintain a welcoming Judgement Free environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required or preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency is expected.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to members and guests to ensure a positive experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and greet members.
• Sign up new members, tour facilities, and log amenities.
• Respond to questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases at the POS.
• Promote fitness classes to members and new sign-ups.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, safe club environment.

Job Location: L115 Lenoir - Lenoir, NC 28645

Part- Time: Starting at $11 per hour.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 3PM to 11PM, Fridays 1PM to 9PM, and Saturday and Sunday 11AM to 7PM.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
