Job summary

National Fitness Partners in Lexington, NC is hiring a part-time Customer Service Representative to provide a welcoming member experience at Planet Fitness clubs. Starting pay is $11 per hour with scheduled shifts listed below.

You will receive hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months after the first year based on your anniversary date. Join a values-driven team that emphasizes accountability, drive, passion, and ambition.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members and guests; ensure an exceptional Judgement Free experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the POS system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to active and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Job Location: L044 Lexington - Lexington, NC 27292, Part- Time: Starting at $11 per hour.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

MULTIPLE SHIFTS NEEDED

Monday-Thursday; 12PM-4PM, 5PM-11:15PM

Friday; 2PM-9:15PM

Saturday-Sunday; 6:45AM-1PM, 1PM-7:15PM

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
