Job summary

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, is hiring a Customer Service Representative at our Northampton club. You’ll welcome members and guests, sign up new members, and help maintain a Judgement Free environment while promoting PE@PF classes.

The position offers weekend/evening hours, on-site work, and opportunities for advancement within a fast-growing network of clubs. Prior customer service is valued; must be 18+ with basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Job Details: Job Location: L141 Northampton - Northampton, MA, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Full - Time: Starting at $15 per hour.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

HOURS: Saturday & Sunday 1:00-7:15pm, Wednesday & Thursday 4:00-10:00pm (sometimes 2:00-10:00pm), Friday 2:00-9:15pm

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
