Job summary

Planet Fitness in Statesville, NC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative with a flexible schedule and 10–20 hours per week. You will work varied shifts, support the club operations, greet members, handle sign-ups and provide friendly, helpful service.

Starting at $11 per hour with hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months after the first year; weekend availability preferred. Club hours vary by day and you must be dependable and flexible.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members and guests.
• Answer phones using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Part- Time: Starting at $11 per hour.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Flexible Schedule Required | 10–20 Hours Per Week

We are looking for dependable individuals with flexible availability who are willing to work varying shifts and provide additional coverage as needed.

Club Hours

• Monday–Thursday: 5:00 AM – 11:00 PM


• Friday: 5:00 AM – 9:00 PM


• Saturday–Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Scheduling Requirements

• Currently 10–20 hours per week.


• Shifts and hours may vary based on business needs.


• Must be willing to fill in and provide coverage when needed.


• Some weekend availability is required.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.


• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script


• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.


• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner


• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
