Job summary

National Fitness Partners in Carlisle, PA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver a top-tier member experience at Planet Fitness clubs. The role includes greeting and signing up members, answering questions, processing purchases at the POS, and promoting fitness classes, while keeping the club clean and safe.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and are at least 18 years old. Part-time schedule with growth opportunities is available.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote Planet Fitness classes (PE@PF) to active and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Job Details: Job Location: L012 Carlisle - Carlisle, PA, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Any, Part- Time: Starting at $12 per hour.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications: Job Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
