Job summary

Planet Fitness in Monroe, NC is seeking a Customer Service Representative to greet members, sign up new members, and log amenities, delivering a friendly Judgement Free experience.

The role includes answering questions, processing purchases, promoting fitness classes, and maintaining a safe club environment with a focus on member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required or preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospects and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions in a timely, professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases at the point of sale.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Job Details: Job Location: L051 Monroe - Monroe, NC 28110, Full - Time: Starting at $12 per hour.

Availability: Monday - Thursday 2:00pm - 10:00pm and Friday 1:15pm - 9:15pm

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications: Job Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
