Job summary

Planet Fitness in Indianapolis is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to greet members, answer phones, sign up new members, and log amenities. You’ll support a welcoming, helpful club culture and promote the brand’s services.

The role offers starting pay at $12 per hour with increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months thereafter, plus benefits like PTO, Employee Assistance, and a free Planet Fitness Black Card Membership.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverages or merchandise purchases through the POS system.
• Promote fitness classes to active and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script


• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.


• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner


• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system


• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members


• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications: Job Requirements:

• Customer service experience


• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred


• Must be 18 years of age or older


• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling


• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.


• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift


• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift


• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
