Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Customer Service Representative at our Plainfield, IN location under National Fitness Partners. The role offers part-time hours with Saturday and Sunday shifts from 6:45 AM to 1:00 PM and a starting wage of $12 per hour.

We provide a supportive team environment with schedule increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months thereafter based on anniversary date. Benefits include PTO, employee assistance, and more.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members and guests.
• Greet members, sign up new members, log amenities.
• Respond to member questions in a timely, professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases at POS.
• Promote fitness classes to active and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized club environment.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications: Job Requirements

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
