Job summary

Planet Fitness – National Fitness Partners in New Castle, IN is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Representative to greet members, answer questions, sign up new members and assist with club operations.

Starting at $12 per hour with scheduled shifts and incremental increases after milestones; benefits include PTO, shift-differential pay, EAP, and a free Black Card membership.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required or preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency is expected.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using scripts.
• Greet members and sign up new members, plus tours.
• Respond to member questions promptly and professionally.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases at the POS.
• Promote fitness classes to members and new signups.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized club environment.

Part- Time: Starting at $12 per hour.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Schedule Option A : Monday - Friday (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

Schedule Option B : Monday - Wednesday (7:00 PM - 11:15 PM) and Saturday and Sunday (1:00 PM - 7:15 PM)

Schedule Option C : Thursday (7:00 PM - 11:15 PM) Friday (2:00 PM - 9:15 PM) and Saturday and Sunday (1:00 PM - 7:15 PM)

Schedule Option D : Thursday and Friday (2:00 PM - 7:00 PM) and Saturday and Sunday (6:45 AM - 2:45 PM)

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

QualificationsJob Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
