Job summary

Planet Fitness in Holyoke, MA is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Representative to join our team. The role focuses on delivering a superior member experience, answering phones, greeting members, and processing purchases while promoting fitness programs.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ age, basic computer skills, and availability for weeknights 5p-10p and weekends 7a-7p. Growth and flexible scheduling are emphasized.

Part- Time: Starting at $15 per hour.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
